Take the tags off of the dogs!

My migraines often arrive in the early morning hours. If I'm exceptionally sleepy and warm under my down comforter, I'll sometimes procrastinate getting out of bed to do anything about the pain. I roll over, hold my head, and hope against hope that it will go away by itself. Of course, this never works so it's quite strange that I still try it. Actually, it gradually gets worse, giving me no choice but to get out of bed and do something about it before it's too late.

Welcome!

Welcome!  I've read and commented on many blogs about pain and migraine.  I love to write so writing about migraine, my constant companion as well as my nemesis for well over thirty years, just seemed logical.

Over the years, I've read everything I can get my hands on. I've changed my diet, I've taken many medications, I've tried numerous natural alternatives, I've seen multiple doctors and specialists, and I've even had surgery.  Some things work, other things don't.  I plan to share my journey, past and present, and perhaps we can help each other!
